Youth

United Methodist Youth - Students experience fellowship, study, outreach, missions and worship in a variety of settings.  UMY meets every Sunday from 4-6 p.m.  All students 6th grade through 12th are invited.

Youth Force - Middle school students join other youth from around the state to repair homes in a rural area.   This year Oklahoma City is the mission field.

Appalachia Service Project - Senior High students travel to the Appalachia mountains to be in service each summer.

Wednesdays - We worship with others from the community at Oasis at 6:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.

 

Central Oklahoma District Camp - Students from throughout the Oklahoma City metropolitan area meet together to learn about Christ and experience nature.  Canyon Camp, near Hinton, is the site for this yearly outing and provides an excellent facility.

JEM and CYME Camps provide leadership training for Youth of all ages.

 

Youth serve in many capacities within the local church.  They work in the nursery, help lead The Landing - Children's Church, share in worship, serve as lay leaders and lay speakers and on committees,  as well as volunteering for many special events.
