Journey Class—People in their twenties and thirties gather in the Conference Room. This discussion-based class strives to strengthen individual Christian faith, strengthen the faith of others, and provide social fellowship.
Family Matters - One of the greatest gifts you can give your family is a strong faith foundation! VUMC would like to help you discover ways to find God and call upon God's help in the midst of your busy life. If you want to have a strong faith to pass along to your children -- If you want to come together with others searching for the same answers as you are -- If you would like a place where you can find a faith that is relevant in this secular world -- This class is for you! John and Jenny Ferguson teach the class that meets downstairs in the first room.
Crusaders –This class meets for Bible Study relating to real world issues in Room 104. Dale Smith teaches and discussion is a large part of the class.
Wesley - "Seasons of the Sprit" with scriptural texts for the Church Year is the basic curriculum used by Wesley Sunday School Class. There are 4 scripture readings for each Sunday. At the beginning of each quarter, class participants receive a copy of the scheduled scripture readings with commentaries for study. Although the class is made up of persons who are retired from their employment, all ages are welcome. Mary Taylor and Robert McMasters serve as teachers, with Marcella Young serving as class president. Bill and Wanda Noble are our music leaders, for we love to sing the songs of the faith as a part of our Sunday School session. The class meets in the church parlor.
All classes are open to all ages – visit one or more classes and find the place where you can deepen your discipleship.
United Methodist Women - Circles meet monthly and participate in all types of educational and mission activities throughout the year.
United Methodist Men - Breakfast is served the first and third Mondays of the month, except for holidays.
Prime Timer's - Older adults 55+ meet monthly for fellowship, education and fun. A potluck lunch is shared the second Thursday of the month at noon.
